Outdoor Wedding at Joslyn Castle - Indoor Durham Museum Wedding - Next Day Ethiopian Reception at Baylis Hall

I was so excited when Leah and Gage told me they were planning their wedding at two of Omaha’s beautiful, historic venues!  Historical architecture is something I’ve always been so inspired by, so it was so special to document a day that embraced it so fully!  Their soft summer ceremony outside the Joslyn Castle was so breathtaking with the front of the castle as their background.  They envisioned dramatic, moody photos taken inside the Joslyn as well as cinematic, romantic photos in the gardens on the castle grounds.  Just WOW.  The Joslyn Castle is one of the most charming venues in Omaha.  The locations for beautiful photos are absolutely endless!

Their reception at the Durham Museum was equally stunning, and they truly highlighted its beauty by focusing on a minimalistic, romantic atmosphere.  To make the weekend feel even more heartfelt, they spent the following evening celebrating with family and friends at an Ethiopian reception hosted by Leah’s family at Bayliss Park Hall.  Such a beautiful, meaningful ending to their ethereal summer weekend!
